As a new member of the church, this app has enabled me to just type the words or sentence I could recall of a hymn n find the entire words of it plus the melody.

This app is great. I use it all the time.

Love this app. I spent time over in Afghanistan in very small serviceman branches, and this app was a saving grace from 3 guys trying to sing a capella each week. We were able to have an iPod hooked into some speakers and off we went. BUT!!! The newer version of the app, being great with the addition of a voices track along with a music only track neglects one this that the old version had... WORDS. If you turn on the music, you cant see the notes and words. So you cant sing along, or use the app to help learn parts as you would if you are in choir. I know there are other ways to do this, but if you are limited in what you have with you (and I suspect you are or else why would you be dependent on an app for music) then this really is a let down. Also, the app is great in that you can pre-play the music which puts it into the apps memory and then you can play it again later when there is no internet (like in Afghanistan or other remote areas). I havent tested that recently, but it was a great feature previously. If you bring back being able to see the words when the music plays, this is a 5-star app all the way.

Easy to use and easy to listen to.

Good search function and its nice to have the Hymns and Childrens Songs in one app. I also love the playback feature to hear the hymns.

I love this app, it is of course very useful. But I live in a trilingual area so I am constantly switching languages. Every time I find a song in English and then choose the option to find it in French for example, the page it leads me to is always at least 3 pages off (if Im searching in the 123 option). In the ABC option it always leads me to another hymn, and not the translated one that I am initially looking for. Please fix this! Thank you.

every time I go to type the name or number of a hymn the app crashes please fix!!

has not worked since the update. still no content. i tried deleting and reinstalling several times and still no luck.

It is so handy! Use it for Family Home Evenings, at church, or when I feel like singing Hymns. Great tool!

I love this app but I always wish that you the hymns in Tagalog. Please put the hymns up in Tagalog. It would be a huge help.

I normally dont have any problems with this app. But since yesterday, it has not allowed me to listen to the songs when I tap the "play" icon. An error message pops up and says it could to download the song. Just wondering if this is an issue on my end or is it a bug that needs to be fixed?

(5 stars when its working, 1 star if its not... because the error makes it completely unusable.) I use it almost every week, never a problem till last week my phone threw up an error, so I used my iPad, then this morning when I was preparing for next week, it threw up an error. Please fix! I Love this app!

Because I was having problems with some of the songs, I deleted the app then reinstalled it. I thought that might help alleviate the problem but nope.. Now none of the songs are working

I used to really love the LDS hymns app, especially since I love to have both the English and French hymns readily available. However, ever since the last update almost a year ago (seriously?!?), this functionality has become nearly useless. When I go to a hymn in English and click the button to change languages, it leads me to a different hymn in French. It seems that French hymns that are spread over two pages in the paper version are also on two pages in the digital edition, whereas they should be on one single page like how the English two page hymns are on one digital page. So because of the extra pages, everything seems to be off. And the farther back a hymn is, the farther off it becomes. Anyway, I know that was long winded but I hope the developers can take that information to fix this app and bring back the great functionality it once had.

Love to use this app for singing time in nursery! I made a play list to go along with all the props our Ward has; this makes it super easy and FAST to get the next song going and keep the littles attention. My singing voice is horrible so it helps drown me out and I dont feel self conscious with others around. Always works; never had any issues with the app.
